Affiliate & sponsor disclosure
Last updated 2026-10-19
ContractRules is free to read. To support the site, ContractRules may earn commissions from links to continuing-education providers and other partners, and may show a clearly labeled sponsor. If you buy through an affiliate link, it costs you nothing extra.
What this never affects
- Sponsors and affiliates never influence rule content, summaries, sources, or verification status.
- No partner reviews or approves any page before it is published.
- Rule pages cite primary sources, not partners.
How you'll know
- Sponsor placements are labeled “Sponsor.”
- Affiliate placements, such as the continuing-education box, are labeled “Partner,” and their links are marked as sponsored links in the page code.
Newsletter
Issues of the “What changed this month” newsletter can contain sponsor placements and affiliate links, for example to continuing-education providers. In each issue, sponsor placements are labeled “Sponsor” and affiliate links are labeled as affiliate or partner links. The same rules apply as on the site: sponsors and affiliates never influence what we report.
Today
As of the date above, the ContractRules site has no active sponsors and no affiliate links. The continuing-education space on the site is a placeholder.
